Cortex, Swiss publisher of Organized Accounting
Cortex is a Swiss publisher. The product prepares an organized accounting file from a document pile. You validate. You export. We do not present ourselves as a leader, a fiduciary, or a host of “everything in Switzerland”.
Mission
Ease recovery of the pile without dispossessing anyone. Cortex organises, matches, checks and explains. AI is a component, not the category.
Reliable accounting remains a human judgement — yours, or your fiduciary’s.
The product in one sentence
From a pile (invoices, QR-bills, receipts, statements) to a structured file, with proposed and checked entries, validation before export to the software already used in Switzerland.
What we are not
Not a fiduciary service, not an ERP, not payroll, not customer invoicing, not an FTA filing, not a ten-year legal archive.
Not a market ranking. “Swiss leader” is not a sentence we use.
Isolated files
Client files are separated in the application. During review, the document stays linked to the entry. That is not an ISO, SOC, or database-partition promise.
Reading documents
Document OCR uses Google Cloud Vision, European endpoint eu-vision.googleapis.com. That step is not Swiss hosting of the image.
OCR is a component. By itself it does not declare that an amount is right.
Hosting — what we do not claim
We do not claim that all data stays in Switzerland. Several components (including image reading) process outside Switzerland.
The privacy policy states what is contractually tenable. This page invents neither a city, nor a datacentre, nor a legal form.
Retention
Source files are designed as short-lived. Long filing stays with you. We do not guarantee an operational SLA here.
FAQ
Who publishes Cortex?
A Swiss publisher of Organized Accounting. The legal form is omitted here because this page has no validated source for it.
Where is the data?
File isolation in the application. OCR via Google Cloud Vision (EU endpoint). Contractual detail is on the privacy page — not a slogan of all-Swiss hosting.
