Real objections, short answers. Cortex prepares a controllable file; you validate before export. No public score, no total autonomy, no fiduciary service.

Cortex is upstream: pile → numbered file → proposed entries → you validate → export to the software already in place.
Control and validation
Nothing is exported until the file is validated. Uncertain means: re-read this field. It is not a certification.
Fiduciary
Cortex is not a fiduciary service. It prepares the mandate file; the firm keeps advice, filings and the relationship.
Banking
File import (PDF, CSV, CAMT), to review. Not “every bank”, no permanent connection. Reconciliation (QR reference first, then score) is an Organized Pro tier and above.
Security and data
File isolation in the application. OCR via Google Cloud Vision (EU endpoint). We do not claim all-Swiss hosting or a purge SLA here.
FAQ
Does Cortex book everything alone?
No. You validate before export. Cortex organises and flags; it does not decide in your place.
Is AI the guarantee?
No. AI is a component. Numeric controls (balance, Swiss VAT, QR) run before any remedial proposal.
Does Cortex invent a missing entry?
No. An incomplete line is not persisted as an entry. Absent information stays absent.
Is proposed VAT an FTA return?
No. It is a consistency check on documents. You or your fiduciary file.
Does Cortex read every scan?
No. An unreadable document stays to review. Quality depends on the supporting document.
Is bank import infallible?
No. You import a file (PDF, CSV, CAMT) and you review. That is not a connection to every bank.
Does Cortex impose itself as the firm’s tool?
No. It prepares the mandate file, upstream. The firm’s process stays yours.
Can I drop my fiduciary because of Cortex?
No. Your fiduciary stays responsible for advice. Cortex is not a fiduciary service and does not take the mandate.
Do client files mix?
No. Each mandate has its space. Application-level isolation — not an ISO promise.
Does all data stay in Switzerland?
We do not claim that. OCR goes through Google Cloud Vision (European endpoint). Detail is on the privacy page.
Does review disappear?
No. Cortex reduces searching in the pile. Judgement stays.
Is Cortex a digital fiduciary?
No. A preparation tool. Mandate, advice and filings stay with the firm.
Are doubts hidden?
No. Uncertain cases and contradictions are visible. Better to flag than to correct in silence.
Where do I see the proof?
In the demo: the file, including what still needs validation. No invented client stories.
Is Cortex the Swiss leader?
No. A Swiss publisher of Organized Accounting. Not a ranking.
Does Cortex have “more AI” than Bexio?
That is not the race. Cortex prepares the file for the software you already have.
Does Cortex archive for ten years?
No. A working file is not a ten-year legal archive. Long-term filing stays with you or your fiduciary.
