Organized Accounting means preparing the file before the books are kept. Cortex is not Crésus, WinBiz, Abacus or Bexio. It is not a Swiss fiduciary.

AI and OCR (Google Cloud Vision) are components. They certify nothing. The product is a controllable file.

In Switzerland the cost is often not “not knowing the accounts”. It is recovering QR-bills, photos, PDF statements and shared drives before anyone can post.

• Drop the batch — documents and statements as files.
• Structure — split, name, number.
• Check — balance, Swiss VAT, QR, before a proposal exists.
• Validate — you or your fiduciary. Nothing leaves without that.
• Export — into the software already in place.

Show uncertainty rather than a percentage

Cortex does not publish a magic accuracy rate. Detected is not yet reliable. Proposed is not validated. Confirmed by you is not Cortex-certified.

Missing information stays missing. Contradictions stay visible. Export stays blocked until the file is validated.

Three doors, the same file

SMEs: several people drop documents, one numbered file, the ERP you already chose. Self-employed professionals: a binder for your fiduciary, without running the whole set of books alone. Fiduciaries: isolated mandates, export per client software — Cortex does not take the mandate.

Stated limits

No payroll, no customer invoicing, no Swiss VAT return to the FTA, no ten-year legal archive inside Cortex, no permanent bank connection. Statements are imported as files (CAMT, PDF, CSV) — the product’s banking workflows, not a Cortex bank.

We do not claim all hosting is in Switzerland. OCR runs through Google Cloud Vision (EU endpoint).
