Swiss bank formats for reconciliation
Export CAMT.053 (account statement) or CAMT.054 (debit/credit notification) from e-banking, import into Cortex, validate proposed matching, then continue to assisted reconciliation — file import only.
In Switzerland, CAMT.053, MT940, PDF and CSV vary by bank (UBS, Raiffeisen, PostFinance, BCV…). Cortex prepares statements for assisted reconciliation with human validation, then export — no permanent bank connection. See bank reconciliation and the Organized Accounting pillar.
CAMT.053 and CAMT.054 — ISO 20022 basics
Bank files are inputs to the Organized Accounting dossier. Cortex claims no bank partnership: export from e-banking, validate matching, export to your software.
| Format | Rôle | Repère |
|---|---|---|
| CAMT.053 | Account statement (period) — main import for assisted matching | ISO 20022 XML account statement for a period — file import from e-banking, no permanent sync. |
| CAMT.054 | Debit/credit notification — when e-banking exports it | ISO 20022 debit/credit notification — complement to the statement when e-banking exports it. |
| MT940 / PDF / CSV | Legacy or archive — structure then assisted reconciliation | Legacy SWIFT statement — often still available; structure then assisted reconciliation. |
