System — statements and matching

Assisted bank reconciliation: files, proposals, human validation

Cortex reconciles imported statements with your documents and entries. You export the file from your e-banking, drop it in, Cortex proposes links — QR reference first, then a score — and you validate. This is not a permanent bank connection, and it is not infallible matching.

A file import, not a permanent connection

The production path is import: PDF, CSV, CAMT (including CAMT.053). You download the statement in your e-banking, then drop it into Cortex. Cortex does not open a permanent access to your bank and is not a partner of any institution.

Two passes: QR first, then a score

Matching starts with the QR-bill reference when it is readable — a deterministic link, still to review. Cases without a unique reference receive a score. Gaps stay listed. Document ↔ statement matching sits inside Organized Accounting; it is available from the Pro plan.

Honest framing: import and review

Swiss statements vary. The banking pipeline is not presented as fully deterministic. An ambiguous amount, date or reference still needs a decision. Cortex proposes; you validate before export to your software.

Inside Organized Accounting

The statement is not a separate product. It feeds the same file: structured documents, proposed entries, visible uncertain cases, isolated mandates, export blocked until you validate.

FAQ

Do you connect to my bank?

No. You import the statement (PDF, CSV or CAMT). There is no permanent Open Banking in the current offer.

How is matching proposed?

QR reference first when present, then a score. You review proposals and unmatched items.

Does reconciliation replace my e-banking?

No. E-banking stays with your bank. Cortex prepares the accounting file upstream of your software.
