Organized Accounting: from clutter to a controllable file you validate

Cortex turns supporting documents and bank files into an organized, controllable, exportable accounting file. The company or fiduciary reviews what is uncertain, validates, and only then can the file be exported to Crésus, WinBiz, Abacus or the software you already use in Switzerland.

What is Organized Accounting?

An upstream category: organise the clutter, match what can be matched, check the figures, surface uncertainty — then leave the decision to a person. Cortex prepares the file. You validate.

This is not “AI accounting”. AI is a brick for structuring and proposing. The product is the controllable file, not a slogan of autonomy.

Swiss clutter: documents and statements

Catch-all PDFs, QR-bills, expense notes, till photos: the cost is not “not knowing how to book”. It is searching and re-keying.

Bank statements arrive as files to import — CAMT, PDF, CSV. Cortex is not a bank, and it does not connect to your accounts. File import is not autonomous bank bookkeeping.

Four steps, one file

Drop the clutter. Structure the supporting documents. Propose entries after numeric controls. Export only once the file is validated. The accounting software stays yours.

  • Structured documents — split, name, number.
  • Checked entries — propose after balance, Swiss VAT and QR.
  • File ready — export to the software you already use.
  • Controls and evidence — see what is uncertain before you validate.

Fiduciaries, SMEs, self-employed professionals

Three uses, the same file. Not three identical slogans.

  • Fiduciaries: take in multi-mandate clutter, isolate each client file, export to the firm’s software. Cortex does not take the mandate.
  • SMEs: team clutter (Drive, email, photos) while Crésus, WinBiz or Abacus is already in place. Cortex is not the ERP.
  • Self-employed professionals: drop, review doubts, hand over a file. Cortex does not run without you.

What Cortex is not — and what we do not promise

Cortex is not a fiduciary: it does not take the mandate. It is not a full ERP. It does not run payroll, customer invoicing, or Swiss VAT filings. It does not keep a ten-year archive: long-term filing stays with you.

  • No public accuracy score, no magic percentage.
  • No infallibility: uncertain cases stay in review.
  • Autonomy is not the category: nothing is exported without validation.
  • No invented entry to fill a gap.

Why the file is controllable

Extracted fields are checked against Google Cloud Vision. OCR is a component. It does not, by itself, make a figure reliable.

Cortex surfaces uncertainty, refuses to invent an incomplete entry, and blocks export until you validate. Mandates stay isolated. Judgement stays yours or your fiduciary’s.

FAQ

What is Organized Accounting?

Turning documentary and bank clutter into a structured, controllable, exportable file. Cortex prepares; you or your fiduciary validate.

Does Cortex replace my accounting software?

No. It prepares the file and exports to Crésus, WinBiz, Abacus or another format. The books stay in your software.

Does the AI validate the entries?

No. Human validation is required before export. Cortex is not autonomous accounting, and it does not take the mandate.
